JUMBLEQUEEN

Jumblequeen is a blog dedicated to the unsung female musicians of the late 1960's to early 1970's. It will feature interviews from artists themselves as well as new artists whose work has been influenced by these exceptional women of yesteryear. All interview content is property of Jumblequeen. This is a small presentation of what will eventually be a book dedicated to these artists.

Despite the fact that Dory Previn was nominated 3 times for best original song for “Faraway Part of Town” from the film “Pepe”, “Second Chance” from “Two for the Seesaw” and “Come Saturday Morning” from “The Sterile Cuckoo”, Dory was sadly overlooked in the Academy’s memoriam. Only two original songs for film were nominated this year. Dory Previn also contributed to the title song for “Last Tango in Paris” and “The Valley of The Dolls”.
